Frequently Asked Questions

Here, you'll find answers to some of the most common questions about Amanda's services, expertise, and what sets her apart. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to our team.

What is EOS and how does Amanda help implement it?

EOS® (the Entrepreneurial Operating System®) is a complete set of tools and a proven process designed to help entrepreneurial leadership teams clarify their vision, gain traction through execution, and create a healthy team culture. Amanda guides your team through the EOS Proven Process, delivering full-day sessions, providing between-session support, and helping migrate the EOS tools and disciplines throughout the organization.

What’s the difference between an EOS Implementer and a consultant?

Consultants often give advice from the outside looking in. An EOS Implementer™ teaches, facilitates, and coaches using a proven system, with no guesswork. Amanda does not bring her own agenda. She helps your leadership team solve your own issues using timeless tools that work in any industry.

Why should I hire an Implementer rather than self-implementing EOS?

Self-implementing is possible, but it often takes longer, leads to inconsistent results, and puts added pressure on the Visionary or Integrator to drive the process alone. Amanda brings structure, objectivity, and the clarity that only an experienced outside perspective can offer. She helps leadership teams implement EOS® faster, more effectively, and with lasting results.

What does the engagement look like over time?

The process begins with three foundational sessions: Focus Day, Vision Building Day 1, and Vision Building Day 2, all within the first 60 days. After that, Amanda facilitates quarterly sessions and an annual planning retreat. Full access and support are included between sessions.

What kind of results can we expect in the first 60 days?

You will walk away with a clear Accountability Chart, measurable Rocks, a functional Scorecard, a shared vision, and a healthy meeting cadence. Most teams experience immediate clarity, alignment, and traction, even before their first quarterly session.

How long does it take to fully implement EOS?

Most teams are well on their way after 6 to 8 sessions, typically over 18 to 24 months. Some teams work with Amanda for approximately two years, while others may continue longer. The EOS Life® begins taking shape right away. Amanda helps you make rapid progress in the first 60 days while ensuring the habits you build stick for the long haul.

What is the cost of implementing EOS? (And what’s the cost of not?)

Amanda’s full-day session fee is $7,000 and includes comprehensive between-session support. She will discuss the session fee during the 90-minute meeting on the proven process. Her fee is guaranteed, which means you bring a check to the session and only pay if you feel she has delivered value. This keeps her fully committed to delivering results. The fee remains consistent throughout the engagement.

The cost of not implementing EOS® is much higher: wasted time, missed opportunities, misalignment, people issues, and stalled growth. EOS creates freedom, clarity, and confidence faster.

Who should be in the EOS sessions?

Only the key leaders who are accountable for the major functions of the business participate in EOS® sessions. Amanda helps identify and align this group early in the process through the Accountability Chart. She works closely with them to drive clarity, solve issues, and strengthen the Six Key Components™, while also supporting the broader organization between sessions.

What does “between session support” actually include?

Amanda reviews Level 10 meetings, coaches second-tier managers, audits departmental scorecards, supports onboarding of new leaders into EOS®, and offers guidance to cascade EOS® throughout the company, all at no extra cost.

What makes Amanda’s approach different?

Amanda lived EOS® before she taught it. She built and scaled her own franchise using EOS and now helps other leaders do the same with calm, clarity, and a strong cultural lens. Her support continues far beyond the session room.

(Non-Obvious) How does Amanda support cultural transformation, not just operational change?

Amanda reinforces EOS® language and leadership behaviors at every level so the system becomes second nature. She helps the organization speak a common language and operate with shared values, which cements long-term adoption.

(Non-Obvious) What happens when leadership isn’t aligned, or someone is in the wrong seat?

Amanda creates space for courageous conversations. With neutrality and experience, she helps leadership teams face hard truths with grace so they can make the right people decisions without drama and with accountability.

What’s the difference between an Accountability Chart and an Org Chart?

While an Org Chart focuses on job titles and hierarchy, the Accountability Chart is about clarity of roles and responsibilities. It defines what needs to be done, who owns it, and ensures that every major function in the business is covered, regardless of titles.

In EOS®, structure comes first, then people. That means building the right Accountability Chart for the business’s future and then placing the right people in the right seats.

What are the 5 Foundational Tools of EOS?

The 5 Foundational Tools are introduced on Focus Day and immediately create traction and clarity for the leadership team:

  • Accountability Chart – Defines the right structure for the business and who owns what

  • Rocks – 90-day priorities that create focus and drive execution

  • Meeting Pulse – A weekly Level 10 Meeting™ to maintain alignment, accountability, and problem-solving

  • Scorecard – A weekly snapshot of key metrics that help teams spot issues before they become problems

  • Issues List – A space to capture and solve real problems at the root

These tools are simple, but powerful, and together they form the foundation of a healthier, higher-performing business.

What are the Six Key Components™ of a healthy business?

EOS® identifies six key areas that every strong business must master:

  • Vision – Getting everyone 100% on the same page with where you are going and how you plan to get there

  • People – Ensuring you have the right people in the right seats

  • Data – Running the business on objective numbers rather than emotion or opinions

  • Issues – Becoming great at identifying and solving real problems at the root

  • Process – Documenting and following your core processes to create consistency and scalability

  • Traction® – Bringing discipline and accountability into the organization so the vision gets executed every day

What types of issues does EOS help solve?

EOS® helps solve common but critical challenges, including:

  • Lack of alignment and clarity at the leadership level

  • Ineffective meetings and poor follow-through

  • People issues such as wrong seats, unclear expectations, and weak accountability

  • Inconsistent execution or stalled growth

  • Unclear metrics and missed targets

  • Visionary and Integrator tension or leadership friction

  • Firefighting culture instead of proactive problem-solving

What size companies are best suited for EOS?

EOS® is designed for growth-oriented companies with 10 to 250 employees, though it is successfully used by smaller and larger organizations. What matters most is not size. It is having a leadership team that is willing to be open, honest, and committed to change.

Why does my company need an operating system?

Without an operating system, businesses grow messy as they scale. Leaders pull in different directions, people are not clear on roles, and issues go unsolved. EOS® gives your business a shared language, a simple structure, and a repeatable rhythm so your team can make better decisions, solve problems faster, and grow with confidence.

What is EOS?

EOS® (the Entrepreneurial Operating System®) is a complete, proven system with simple tools that help leadership teams:

  • Clarify and achieve their vision

  • Instill discipline and accountability

  • Build healthy, cohesive leadership teams

It is not theory or complexity. It is a practical system that works in real entrepreneurial companies across every industry.

Does the Implementer need to be local?

Not at all. Amanda works with companies both in person and virtually across multiple regions. What matters most is fit, trust, and commitment to the process, not proximity. In-person sessions can be scheduled to accommodate travel, and between-session support is fully accessible regardless of location.

Does the Implementer need expertise in our industry? Why not?

No. EOS® is industry-agnostic by design. It brings timeless business principles to any organization, regardless of product, service, or market. Amanda focuses on helping your leadership team build internal clarity and discipline, not telling you how to run your business. You are the expert in your field. She is the expert in helping you run it better.

Do we need to start at the beginning of our fiscal year?

No. EOS® works on rolling 90-day cycles and is not tied to your fiscal calendar. Starting before your next fiscal year can help your leadership team build momentum. There is no wrong time to start. There is only starting.
